89001 has now run-round the test train formation at Tebay and is ready to work 5Z32, 13:24 Tebay to Crewe Holding Sidings on 18 March 2026. This was the return leg of 89001's second day of loaded test runs after obtaining unrestricted approval to run on the main line network. The train load is provided by Locomotive Services Ltd vehicles and consists of Mk.3 Driving Van Trailer 82139, six Mk.3 carriages and electric locomotive 86101 dead in train as backup. 89001 had been run-round the train at Tebay to ensure that both driving cabs are fully exercised during these test runs.
