Billed as a re-run of the aborted "Farewell" trip the previous December, this tour ran from Birmingham International to Glasgow on 15th October 2008, with 87002 at the helm on its first passenger tour since restoration. Unfortunately the loco's battery charger failed prior to working the return trip, casting a bit of a shadow on the successful northbound run.
